Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its Asset Management organization. Based in Pittsburgh, PA with nearby locations, you will design, build and support scalable data solutions, focusing on governance, modeling, and modernization in a hands-on role.

You will partner with a Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver robust data pipelines, while adhering to data quality, lineage and compliance standards. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data warehousing, modeling and SQL.
• Knowledge of source-to-target mappings, DDL, SCD types, and standards.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and with governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data warehouse solutions, including pipelines and models.
• Support data governance practices (quality, lineage, compliance).
• Create and maintain mappings, DDL docs, and SCD models.
• Contribute to metadata management and documentation using Alation.
• Collaborate with engineers, BSA’s, QE, and reporting teams to align data solutions.
• Support migration and modernization, including legacy rationalization.
• Participate in releases, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
