Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a Data Governance/Data Engineer to implement and integrate access controls, governance policies, and entitlements across enterprise data platforms in a NY-based role. You will build and maintain data pipelines, enforce row/column-level security, and integrate metadata with governance tools.

The ideal candidate has strong Python/SQL/PySpark/Scala skills, experience with Databricks and Delta Lake, and familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Implement row-level and column-level security.
• Integrate metadata and governance solutions.
• Implement masking and tokenization frameworks.
• Build automation for entitlement enforcement.
• Support testing and performance optimization.
• Author, configure, and manage access policies in enterprise governance or entitlement tools.
• Implement tag-based access control and metadata-driven entitlement enforcement.
• Develop workflow automation for access requests, approvals, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
• Build reconciliation processes to validate actual access against approved entitlements.
• Support automated policy enforcement and exception handling.
