Job summary

HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Quality within the Digital Transformation & Innovation group. This role will design and implement data governance initiatives, build enterprise data frameworks, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Candidates should have 3+ years in data engineering, with a strong foundation in GCP, BigQuery, and data quality across healthcare data domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced data governance roles.
• 3+ years as a Data Engineer or similar.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred.
• 5+ years IT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and support data governance initiatives.
• Develop and implement a data strategy/framework for enterprise data governance.
• Mentor other developers and collaborate in a matrixed team.
• Lead data quality, data lifecycle management, and metadata practices.
• Work with Agile teams to deliver robust data solutions.
