Job summary

CenterSquare Investment Management LLC in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build and operate our data platform. You will own ingestion pipelines, data models, and infrastructure powering analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the firm.

You will collaborate with the Director of Data Strategy & AI and data product owners to deliver reliable, governed data products on Snowflake, optimize performance, and enforce strong data quality and security practices in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years building data pipelines and data platforms in production environments.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience including warehouse management, tuning, RBAC, cost monitoring.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python proficiency; production-grade, testable code.
• Experience with ELT pipelines using Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of medallion architecture patterns (Bronze-Silver-Gold).
• Experience integrating external data providers, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
• Automated testing, data quality monitoring, and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
• Data security and access control in financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience in investment management or financial services with related data flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust ingestion pipelines for internal systems, third-party apps, APIs, and data providers.
• Build reusable ELT pipelines with version control, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Develop semantically governed data models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold for analytics and AI.
• Continuously optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, including RBAC governance.
