Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Data Management/Database Specialist to drive complex data solutions, focusing on data lineage, transformation, and migration within regulatory contexts. You will collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and Product and Software Engineering teams to implement data requirements and ensure data quality.

The role involves leading data pipelines, mentoring engineers, and ensuring on-time delivery with strong data controls across regulatory projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on RDBMS with Sybase ASE / IBM DB2 LUW / Oracle.
• Experience with Data Lineage and ADS sourcing.
• Experience with database migrations.
• ETL experience with Informatica.

Responsibilities

• Lead story refinement and delivery of requirements through the lifecycle and assist teammates with technical complexities.
• Code complex data integration, cleaning, transformation, and control pipelines; build data processes and datasets.
• Document system requirements, liaise with development teams, and leverage architecture components to meet data needs.
• Lead testing teams, develop test plans, and manage integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Drive data management standard adherence with partners, communicating solutions to complex problems.
• Oversee data pipelines to enable data-informed decision making and ensure timely delivery with risk management.
• Mentor Data Engineers and monitor KPIs and internal controls.
• Manage ADS and regulatory data lineage; support data migration and reconciliation tasks.
• Collaborate with database architects, security teams to resolve issues and execute migrations.
