Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics LLC is seeking a data engineering professional to manage and organize data across MES, ERP, PLM, and QA systems. You will develop data pipelines, maintain data structures, and publish domain-oriented data products within a data mesh framework.

You will collaborate with data architects, application engineers, and analytics teams to deliver secure, auditable pipelines and AI/ML-ready datasets for predictive quality and RAG use cases, in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of four years experience in data modeling, data solution development, and data integration.
• Experience integrating data from MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA/historian, LIMS, or QMS is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience with Python, SQL, and/or C# .NET.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data stack (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lake Formation, Kinesis, Lambda, IAM) required; related certifications preferred.
• Experience contributing to data mesh, data fabric, or Digital Thread initiatives is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing data governance, lineage, and cataloging on AWS is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines from multiple sources to target locations supporting the enterprise Digital Thread.
• Maintain accurate data structures and metadata aligned to business requirements.
• Design reusable data products with clear ownership, SLAs, and discoverability across ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts to ensure timely, secure data delivery.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of ETL/ELT deployments with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Partner with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver analytics on OEE, yield, scrap, throughput, and traceability.
• Prepare AI/ML-ready datasets including feature pipelines and dataset versioning for predictive quality and RAG use cases.
