Job summary

MSD seeks a data professional to manage data pipelines across MES, ERP, PLM and quality systems, building scalable data products in a data mesh framework with governance and metadata emphasis.

You will collaborate with data architects and engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions, applying CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure secure, auditable deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS/SE or related field required; advanced degree preferred within technical domain.
• Minimum four years in data modeling, data solution development and data integration.
• Experience integrating data from MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA/historian, LIMS or QMS systems.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and/or C# .NET for data processing and analytics.
• Experience with AWS data stack and data governance tooling is required or highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data mesh concepts, data catalogs, and federated governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines from multiple sources to target locations (MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA).
• Maintain data structure, mapping, and metadata aligned to business needs.
• Design reusable data products within a data mesh with clear ownership and SLAs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts to deliver content to authorized users.
• Manage full life cycle of ETL/ELT deployments with Git, tests, CI/CD, IaC.
• Deliver analytics on OEE, yield, scrap, throughput, and traceability via Digital Thread.
• Prepare AI/ML-ready datasets and feature pipelines with data science teams.
