Job summary

Connect Group is seeking a Data Engineer in Wisconsin to design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines and storage solutions aligned with our enterprise vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Medior (3+ years) experience in data engineering.
• Proficient with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Lake.
• Comfortable with Python, SQL, or DAX for data contexts.
• Familiar with DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, supporting both batch and real-time data processing.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Build robust, high-quality data models that support analytics, AI use cases, reporting and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and refine semantic data models and reports in Power BI to enable deeper business insights.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and security and automation specialists to deliver end-to-end data solutions that meet enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
• Stay up to date with data engineering trends and apply relevant practices, tools and frameworks to keep the data platform scalable, secure and future-ready.
