Job summary

Releady, partnering with a leading healthcare technology company, seeks a senior Data Engineer, Consultant to drive end-to-end data pipelines and data products on cloud platforms. You will model data using Data Vault 2.0, work in a DevSecOps pod, and mentor peers while delivering secure, scalable solutions for regulated healthcare data.

Hybrid role with 2x weekly onsite in California (Sacramento/Rancho Cordova/San Diego/Long Beach/Oakland).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with seven+ years in data engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills with automation and pipeline optimization.
• Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred) with ADLS, Synapse, and Data Factory.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Tidal.
• Deep data modeling, integration patterns, and data warehousing knowledge.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, IaC, and DataOps practices.
• Strong security, privacy, and regulatory compliance understanding.
• Healthcare domain exposure (Epic, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex data pipelines and data products.
• Translate designs into detailed architecture and implementation plans.
• Build scalable, secure data solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Ensure data quality, security, observability, and cost management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
