CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytical capabilities. This hands-on role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and supporting various analytics workloads.

You will model the Core Data Domain, collaborate with data scientists and analysts, and help establish governance, quality, and security for data storage and access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant professional qualification.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines for analytics and ML workloads.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Architecture for analytics, reporting, and ML requirements.
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
• Performance tuning, partitioning, and clustering to optimize queries and control costs.
• Establish data quality standards and governance for data storage and access.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate data with BI tools and ML models.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and processes; mentor junior engineers.
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads and data marts.
