Job summary

Enlighten, a leader in big data solution development, seeks a DataOps Lead to ensure reliability and rapid delivery of mission-critical data sets. You will be the primary technical contact for stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable workflows.

You will guide the DataOps team through adaptive, self-healing data infrastructure while maintaining strong client communication and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• 9+ years in technical operations, systems engineering, or data management with a Bachelor's; or 7+ years with a Master's; or 13 years with a HS diploma.
• Experience with distributed messaging queues, data orchestration engines, and cloud-native storage.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interface & Engagement: Liaise between customer and technical team; translate data needs into engineering tasks.
• Operational Leadership: Manage daily DataOps team operations to accelerate data availability and reduce latency.
• Systems Engineering Oversight: Oversee deployment and maintenance of data flows using templates and core libraries.
• Performance Tuning: Tune cluster performance and monitor pipelines to minimize data health issues.
• Strategic Alignment: Evolve data platform toward automated, proactive operations.
• Ecosystem Coordination: Share strategies and scripts across ecosystem teams.
• Quality Governance: Implement automated Quality Gates and schema validations for production readiness.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Decompose complex problems and troubleshoot dataflow issues across distributed systems.
