Job summary

EY is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Technology Service Delivery team in the US. You’ll design, build, and operate data platforms and cloud data applications for financial services clients, delivering scalable data pipelines and governance.

You’ll work with Snowflake, ETL, Kafka, and cloud stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP) in an iterative, Agile environment, collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams while mentoring teammates and accommodating travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platform development.
• Working knowledge of ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
• Experience with data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver scalable data pipelines and cloud data applications for financial services clients.
• Own data workstreams from design through production support.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and operations teams.
• Mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
