Job summary

EY is seeking Data Engineers to build scalable data platforms, pipelines, databases, and cloud data applications for financial services clients. You will deliver end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake, ETL/streaming technologies, and modern engineering practices.

The role requires hands-on implementation, design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of data engineering experience, knowledge of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Python, containers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platform development.
• Working knowledge of ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
• Experience with data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, reliable data solutions for financial services clients.
• Build batches and streaming pipelines and design data models for cloud apps.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across workstreams.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and operations teams.
• Mentor junior team members and travel up to 30% as needed.
