Job summary

Progressive is hiring a Lead Data Engineer for the Marketing Data Science and Engineering team. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and production-ready engineering practices to support marketing analytics, ML, and AI applications.

This is a remote position for US-based work only. You will lead data integration frameworks, manage cloud infrastructure, and mentor engineers while partnering with data scientists, governance, and marketing teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in IT or related field; 5+ years of work experience in designing, programming, and supporting software.
• In lieu of degree, 6 years of related experience may be accepted.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Snowflake, Python, and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for marketing analytics and AI applications.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards across the team.
• Collaborate with data scientists, governance, and business partners to deliver reliable data solutions.
