Job summary
AgileEngine, LLC. in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain cloud data pipelines for cost visibility and performance insights.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar
- Strong background in end-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines in cloud environments
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience with orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster
- Hands-on with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, Aurora) and Snowflake
- Experience with data modeling and large-scale data processing
- Familiar with CI/CD, version control, Terraform, and REST API integrations
- Strong data validation and auditing capabilities
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the Cloud Economics data pipelines and automation systems.
- Build scalable data pipelines and datasets for cloud cost visibility and performance insights.
- Design data models and ingestion frameworks for telemetry and usage data.
- Develop tooling enabling cost-aware decision-making across teams.
- Optimize data systems for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
- Partner with Engineering and Finance to support cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure data quality and auditability across end-to-end workflows
