Qualifications

• Bachelors in CS or related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 6 years of application development experience.
• At least 4 years in distributed data and with SQL.
• Experience with Python, Java or Scala and data pipelines.
• Experience modeling data using relational and NoSQL systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support full-stack data solutions.
• Mentor developers, data analysts and data scientists across the team.
• Use Python, Spark and cloud data warehousing platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
• Lead end-to-end data initiatives and evaluate platform choices such as Snowflake vs Databricks.
• Design scalable, resilient data pipelines and ensure code quality.
