Job summary

Goodwin is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to modernize our data platforms and implement scalable, secure data solutions across the firm. You will collaborate with IT, business units, and leadership to drive data-driven initiatives and governance.

Responsibilities include building robust data pipelines, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality. Excellent SQL, Python, ETL/ELT skills, and cloud experience are required; knowledge of AI/LLM tech is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years in senior data engineering or DB architecture.
• Snowflake or similar cloud data platform experience preferred.
• Strong SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT development skills.
• Experience with APIs, data integration, and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and modernize data platforms, improve scalability and security.
• Define data governance, quality, and lifecycle procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business units on data initiatives.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for warehousing and analytics.
• Optimize performance and monitor data engineering processes.
• Work in an Agile environment and use Git for version control.
