Job summary

Health-eCommerce.com in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work on Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark pools, and ETL workflows using Python to support data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, ensure data quality and governance, and stay current with Azure data services, DevOps practices, and evolving data technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps, and Spark pools.
• Python scripting plus SQL/Java.
• Senior knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, and quality across systems.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance data capabilities.
• Design data models for Azure Synapse Analytics and support data warehousing.
