PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Data Solutions Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable data pipelines on our Azure data platform, enabling trusted analytics and self-service BI.

You will collaborate with BI Developers, the Data Architect, and stakeholders to ingest, model, and deliver high-quality data using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lake. The role emphasizes batch/stream ingestion, ELT transformations, orchestration, data quality enforcement, and operational support within a

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on data engineering or equivalent data work.
• 2+ years building pipelines on Azure and Databricks.
• Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables.
• Proficiency with SQL performance tuning on large datasets.
• Experience with CI/CD for data assets and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end ELT pipelines in Databricks/ADF.
• Implement data quality checks and alerting with remediation runbooks.
• Create analytics-ready Delta tables using dimensional modeling for Power BI consumption.
• Manage schema drift, CDC patterns, and partitioning strategies.
• Operate jobs with monitoring, logging, and on-call rotation as needed.
• Document pipelines, data contracts, and SLAs; ensure governance and security.
