Job summary

Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, located in Onalaska, WI, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own the Azure Databricks lakehouse and related data integrations. You will build bronze to gold data layers, craft trusted datasets for Power BI, and create secure integrations using MuleSoft and similar tools.

You will guide architecture, governance, and best practices for scalable data platforms, partnering with BI and analytics teams.

Qualifications

: Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/SE field or related.
: 5+ years of hands-on data engineering with enterprise pipelines.
: Production experience with cloud-based ingestion and data delivery for analytics.
: Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark for production-grade data workflows.
: Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD, and environment configuration.

Responsibilities

Own the Azure Databricks lakehouse architecture, standards, governance, and roadmap.
Design, build, deploy, and support scalable data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources.
Develop bronze, silver, and gold data layers using Delta Lake and SQL/PySpark.
Optimize Databricks workloads for performance, cost, and reliability.
Design APIs and integrations using MuleSoft and other tooling.
Implement data quality controls, lineage, monitoring, and recovery practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into durable data solutions.
