Job summary

CI&T is hiring a data engineer to design and maintain high-quality data pipelines in Azure (ADF, Synapse, Databricks) and occasionally on-premises. You will work with BI, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure data flows and compliant data handling.

You'll develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes, leverage SQL Server, and contribute to data governance. The role emphasizes adaptability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning in a global, transformative

Qualifications

Solid experience with Azure data tools (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and dashboards (Power BI).
Willingness to learn new cloud-native frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

Define, build, and deliver data pipelines in Azure and on-prem when needed.
Maintain pipelines with monitoring, incident handling, and improvements.
Participate in data validation and ensure non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Software Eng teams to deliver data solutions.
