Job summary

ParetoHealth seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain serverless data pipelines on AWS, enabling analytics-ready data for AI and analytics teams.

You will own ingestions, transformations, and storage patterns with Lambda, Glue, Athena, and S3, ensuring reliable, documented data aligned with model training needs. Collaboration with Data Science is essential for MLOps and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in data engineering with ownership of production pipelines.
• Experience with AWS data services (Lambda/Glue/Athena/S3) in production.
• Hands-on ML/AI support experience, including feature prep and monitoring.
• Strong data modeling knowledge for AI workloads and schema evolution.
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar streaming platforms; ability to optimize data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable serverless data pipelines on AWS using Lambda/Glue/Athena/S3.
• Build versioned data models and feature stores for AI/Analytics teams.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows from multiple data sources into data lake and analytics layers.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Analytics, and AI teams to define data requirements.
• Implement data quality controls, monitoring, and lineage tracking for critical datasets.
• Partner with AI teams on model experimentation and production deployment.
