Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Distinguished Data Engineer to contribute as a senior individual contributor within its Cyber Enterprise Architecture team. You will help drive modernization, build roadmaps, and mentor engineers while applying data engineering and architecture expertise to solve complex problems.

As a senior contributor, you will influence stakeholders, promote engineering excellence, and help recruit top talent while delivering scalable data and AI solutions in a fast-paced banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in data architecture.
• At least 2 years of experience building applications in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness, increase knowledge and drive adoption of modern technologies within Capital One.
• Strike the right balance between lending expertise and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and reuse of solutions where possible.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Act as trusted advisor for a technology domain and shape use cases and implementations.
