Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a proactive data engineer to own Anaplan architecture for sales incentive compensation and to design scalable data pipelines. You will work across Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora integrations, building robust Databricks solutions and AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or application developer at a mid-to-large sized tech company.
• Passionate about learning and applying AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Advanced Python skills with API integration development.
• Experience with Databricks for data warehouse design and reporting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment using Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs).
• Experience with Fivetran or similar ETL tools.
• Knowledge of Anaplan, Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora APIs.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Anaplan system architecture for sales incentive compensation across all units.
• Design and maintain Databricks data warehouse architecture and reporting infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Fivetran pipelines to move data from Anaplan to Databricks.
• Develop Python and SQL data pipelines to move data from source systems into Anaplan.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline management and GitLab repository administration.
• Maintain data pipelines with SOX-compliant governance and audit controls.
• Expand the AI tech stack and integrate Claude Code for end-user reporting.
