Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud data products across the enterprise. The role provides technical leadership, drives data engineering standards, and mentors engineers in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This hybrid position can be performed from any Breakthru Beverage office location in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in Data/Software Engineering roles.
• Strong SQL with large-scale data transformations.
• Proficiency in Python for orchestration and automation.
• Experience with AWS and Snowflake data platforms.
• Experience with dbt or similar ELT frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop ELT/ETL processes using dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Design AI-ready data models and data products for analytics.
• Implement CI/CD and governance standards for data platforms.
• Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and AI/ML teams.
