Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build AI-ready data platforms, integrating diverse sources into VESSEL, enabling vectorization for Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

You will design scalable cloud-native data pipelines, create vector stores, develop semantic search and knowledge retrieval frameworks, and build data services powering AI agents and prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong Python, Spark and SQL skills.
• Experience with vector databases and embeddings.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of Agentic AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Integrate structured and unstructured data into VESSEL.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines.
• Create vectorized data repositories for AI apps.
• Develop semantic search and knowledge retrieval frameworks.
• Build data services for AI agents and prompt engineering.
• Design scalable cloud-native data platforms.
• Optimize data quality, governance, and performance.
