Job summary

DNV GL, USA in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data services and AI-ready data foundations that support scalable platform capabilities across Digital & Transformation. The role combines API development, backend systems, and data governance within an agile environment.

You will work closely with Product, AI Engineering, and Security teams to deliver reliable software solutions and platform capabilities, with a hybrid schedule three days per week

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with API/backend experience.
• Experience delivering APIs, data services, and cloud-based platforms in agile teams.
• Familiarity with AI-ready data foundations and governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain APIs and data services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
