FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join the Audience & AI group within Revenue Science. You will support data engineering for analyses, AI, ML, and model development, collaborating with engineering and product teams to advance ad tech products.

The role emphasizes building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and deploying solutions across cloud platforms and on‑prem environments. A strong foundation in data engineering is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Analytics, Math, Stats, OR).
7+ years of data engineering experience with large datasets.
Experience with AWS, Databricks and Snowflake highly preferred.
Knowledge of AI platforms, LLMs and LangChain technologies desired.
Experience with Kubernetes, Teradata, Datadog, Airflow for infra/ops is a plus.
Strong analytical, presentation, and documentation skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven questions and run experiments.
Engineer and refine algorithms, software, and automated data integration processes.
Design and build data pipelines converting logs and business data into warehouse tables.
Create data architectures for scalable ingestion, processing and storage.
Ensure data quality and CI/CD monitoring across pipelines.
Develop systems to detect security vulnerabilities and optimize compute/storage.
