Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with large datasets.
• Experience with AWS, Databricks and Snowflake; on-prem/cloud platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven questions and run experiments for product and service enhancements.
• Develop and refine algorithms, software, and automated data integration/cleansing processes from multiple sources.
• Design and build data pipelines and structures to ingest, standardize, and transform logs and business data into warehouse tables and feeds.
• Create data architectures to manage data ingestion, processing and storage at scale.
• Ensure data quality and integration across the pipeline (CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting).
• Optimize compute/storage usage in model pipelines; develop systems to detect vulnerabilities and remediate issues.
• Work independently and as part of a broader team across multiple projects.
