Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, AI & Agents, to prepare enterprise data for AI agents. You will work across Databricks and Snowflake, build domain data agents, and ensure high data quality with governance. Collaboration with business stakeholders is essential for iterative design and validation.

The role focuses on lakehouse migrations, open formats, and data‑contract workflows, leveraging SQL, PySpark, and orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience with data warehousing/lakehouse.
• Strong SQL, Spark/PySpark, and data quality experience.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Snowflake platforms.
• Experience building data agents over governed datasets and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and register domain data agents over governed tables.
• Perform lakehouse migrations and convert source tables to open formats.
• Generate catalogue metadata for automation and data‑contract workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders through iterative build, test, and validation cycles.
