Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data solutions that power personalized customer experiences in Covington, KY. The role includes building a new database, data modeling, and developing SQL and stored procedures.

You will create ELT pipelines with Python, support CI/CD with Jenkins, and collaborate within an Agile team. This is an on-site W2 engagement with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology with 3+ years delivering data solutions.
• Strong SQL expertise with stored procedures and complex query tuning.
• Hands-on Python for ELT and scripting.
• ETL/ELT experience, preferably with Informatica or similar platforms.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git, and related toolchains.
• Systems analysis background with legacy process refactoring.
• Agile team experience and effective written and verbal communication.
• Preferred exposure to MySQL and Snowflake, and cloud concepts in Azure or AWS.
• Business intelligence familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and tools such as Informatica.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins pipelines to deploy Python applications.
• Conduct QA and testing using established methodologies to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile framework to deliver data capabilities.
• Analyze legacy processes, perform decomposition, debugging, tuning, and refactoring.
• Contribute to data solution design across single and multi-tenant environments.

Our client seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data solutions that power personalized customer experiences. The role includes building a new database, modeling data, developing SQL and stored procedures, and creating ELT pipelines with Python. You will collaborate within an Agile environment, advocate for data best practices, and support CI/CD with Jenkins and Git-based workflows.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
