Job summary

TSRConsulting seeks a Senior Data Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL. You will drive data warehousing, build Oracle PL/SQL procedures, and develop Python-based analytics and automation to deliver actionable insights for finance, risk, and operations.

You will mentor data analysts, design reporting solutions, and partner with business stakeholders to resolve complex data issues and improve data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience as a Senior Data Developer or Data Analytics Lead.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including complex query design and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for analytics and automation.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing.
• Experience with data analysis, data profiling, and data quality practices.
• Experience mentoring or leading data analysts in a cross‑functional setting.
• Strong interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet regulatory deadlines.
• Awareness of AI/ML tools and techniques such as machine learning, NLP, and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for finance, risk, and operations.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Design and implement reporting solutions and visualizations using SQL and Python.
• Automate manual tasks, data reconciliations, and data quality checks with Python.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Resolve complex data issues to ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to identify strategic solutions.
• Communicate technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to scope, objectives, and enhancements during development and implementation phases for high-impact projects.
• Manage multiple workstreams, drive issue resolution, and support technology solution design.
• Review processes to identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions.
• Author architectural proposals, technical solutions, and executive-ready communications.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
