Trility Consulting LLC is actively seeking a Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will partner with client engineers to build scalable data pipelines, validate migrations, and establish automated CI/CD workflows in a remote W2 role across the United States.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services, hands-on Fabric production work, and a strong background in data governance and lineage.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services (Fabric, ADF, Databricks, Synapse).
• Hands-on Fabric production experience with lakehouses and pipelines.
• Proven ETL/ELT development of reusable ingestion frameworks.
• Experience enabling metadata-driven ingestion and config-based onboarding.
• Spark notebooks and data transformations with PySpark / Spark SQL.
• Strong SQL for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data migrations and data quality checks.
• CI/CD for data platforms using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and catalog concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in client-facing settings.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and refine Fabric architecture, metadata structures, and ingestion patterns.
• Design a metadata-driven ingestion framework for onboarded sources.
• Migrate workloads from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks using PySpark.
• Analyze Synapse pipelines to map dependencies to Fabric.
• Build data validation and reconciliation processes for migration accuracy.
• Implement CI/CD and environment promotion for Fabric artifacts.
• Utilize Claude Code to guide implementation and review generated code.
• Collaborate with client engineers in paired development and reviews.
• Advise on data dictionary, lineage, and catalog concepts.
