Job description

We are seeking a Senior Data Compliance Engineer / Lead to oversee and enhance our data compliance strategy. This role involves ensuring that our data management practices adhere to relevant regulations and policies while implementing innovative solutions for data integration and management. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data compliance frameworks and will drive initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of data compliance policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOC2 regulations.
  3. Design and maintain data management frameworks that support data governance and protection.
  4. Manage data integration processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  5. Oversee data management practices related to digital twin technologies and IoT systems.
  6. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) measures to safeguard sensitive data.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data compliance challenges and provide guidance on best practices.
  8. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to data compliance standards.
  9. Stay updated on emerging data compliance regulations and industry trends to inform strategy.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in data compliance, data governance, or data management roles.
  3. Strong knowledge of data compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC2).
  4. Experience with ETL processes, SQL, and data integration technologies.
  5. Familiarity with real-time data systems and GIS applications.
  6. Certifications such as CDMP, CIPP, or DAMA are preferred.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  9. Fully REMOTE
