Job summary

Covestic Inc is seeking a Data Center Technician III (L3) to maintain, troubleshoot, and support critical data center infrastructure in a high-availability environment.

This on-site role serves as an escalation point for complex hardware, network, and facility issues, ensuring uptime and adherence to standards. You will mentor junior staff, lead projects, and collaborate with engineering, facilities, networking, and program management teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering.
• 5+ years in enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
• Experience with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Supermicro hardware.
• Strong TCP/IP networking fundamentals and rack infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission servers, storage, and network devices.
• Lead break/fix activities for production incidents and coordinate with teams.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor junior technicians and lead small-to-mid projects.
• Support power, cooling, and physical security of data center environments.
