Job summary

Covestic is seeking a Data Center Technician III to install, troubleshoot, and maintain critical data center infrastructure in our Atlanta-area facility. The role provides escalation support for servers, storage, networking, and GPU-based platforms, and includes mentoring junior technicians and leading deployment activities.

You will work across hardware, networking, and systems domains, using remote management tools and standard procedures to ensure high availability and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center, infrastructure, or hardware support.
• Experience with rack-and-stack installs and structured cabling.
• Strong server hardware troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with enterprise storage and networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, cable, and commission servers, storage, and network devices.
• Perform advanced hardware diagnostics and component replacement.
• Lead break/fix activities on production systems within SLAs.
• Support migrations, hardware lifecycle projects, and decommissioning.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories and deployment docs.
• Mentor L1/L2 technicians and lead small deployments.
