Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Specialist for Data Center (Starlink) in Memphis to manage supplier quality processes and drive rapid defect containment and CAPA, enabling reliable data center hardware delivery.

You will work with cross-functional teams on SDR, MRB, FAI, PPAP, and CAPA, striving to reduce vendor defects and improve reliability of racks, PDUs, cooling, and compute infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings including GD&T.
• Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Experience working with suppliers and corrective/preventive action systems.
• Familiarity with data center hardware and reliability concepts.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Execute supply chain non-conformance management processes (SDR, MRB, RTV, FAI, PPAP, CAPA).
• Analyze supplier quality data and partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
• Build relationships across functions to minimize vendor defect impacts on data center hardware.
• Support assessment of supplier manufacturing processes and enforce quality requirements.
• Develop and refine policies, standards, and documentation for ongoing success and improvement.
• Contribute to design FMEA insights and ongoing quality monitoring for high-density compute, cooling, and power systems.
