Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Specialist for Data Center (Starlink) in Memphis.

You will manage supplier quality processes, drive corrective actions, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability of data center hardware including racks, PDUs, cooling, and servers. The role requires onsite presence with travel up to 30% and coordination across design, reliability, and manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, or quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, GD&T.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Experience with PPAP/FAI and supplier corrective actions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, process flow mapping, lean production, and Six Sigma.
• Familiar with data center hardware and reliability concepts.
• Exposure to statistical data analysis and failure analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute supply chain non-conformance management processes, including SDR, MRB, RTV, FAI support/review, PPAP support, and CAPA.
• Analyze supplier quality data and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive improvements and root-cause actions.
• Build relationships to identify, reduce, and eliminate vendor defect impacts on data center hardware reliability and operations.
• Assess supplier manufacturing processes and enforce supplier quality requirements based on reliability lessons learned.
• Develop policies, standards, and documentation to ensure ongoing success and continuous improvement.
• Support reliability activities such as contributing to design FMEA insights and validation feedback for high-density compute, cooling, and power systems.
