HDR is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services group. Based in Brentwood, TN, or a nearby office, you will design data-center facilities and lead the structural design team through development and contract phases.

You will coordinate with other disciplines, ensure code compliance, and deliver calculations, specifications, and drawings on schedule. HDR values employee ownership, collaboration, and impactful work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with engineering software and MS Office.
• Experience with design of data centers or building envelopes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design buildings for data centers, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations.
• Coordinate with disciplines to meet code compliance.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and design development documents.
• Lead the structural design team through development and contract phases.
• Support project managers and liaise with agencies.
