Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Data Center Solutions Engineer IV with remote or hybrid work options to lead customer engagements and develop technology roadmaps for large-scale data centers.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management and Engineering to translate customer needs into actionable solutions, maintain drawings in Visio, and influence architecture decisions while representing AFL at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale data center deployments.
• Deep understanding of fiber optic connectivity and data center infrastructure.
• Ability to create technical drawings in Visio.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a customer technology roadmap based on market trends.
• Drive technical influence to ensure AFL is seen as a primary technology partner.
• Fully understand customer’s data center architecture and maintain up-to-date drawings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams to meet customer needs.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks for AFL.
• Represent AFL at industry events and standards meetings.
