Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Staff Data Center Solutions Engineer to own the technical interface for planning, deploying, and validating large-scale GPU clusters across customer sites and partner facilities. The role blends hands-on fulfillment with potential leadership as the team scales.

You will guide AI/NeoCloud deployments, advise on cooling and power solutions, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and develop runbooks to support repeatable, high‑quality GPU infrastructure deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, CS, or related field with 12+ years in datacenter infrastructure or GPU deployment.
• Strong understanding of AI/NeoCloud infra and GPUaaS platforms.
• Ability to guide internal tooling without requiring production coding.
• Experience with Agentic AI tools for diagnostics or automation.
• Hands-on experience deploying GPU compute clusters (NVIDIA/CUDA preferred).
• Familiarity with datacenter monitoring tools and BMS integration.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for customer-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and validate GPU cluster deployments with customers and partners.
• Advise on cooling, power products, and infrastructure integration.
• Integrate BMS and datacenter monitoring tools for healthy deployments.
• Apply NeoCloud and GPUaaS knowledge to guide deployments and tooling.
• Lead cross-team technical efforts during critical deployment windows.
• Deliver customer-facing planning and status communication.
• Coordinate with partner datacenters on power, cooling, and space readiness.
• Develop runbooks, checklists, and troubleshooting playbooks for repeatable deployments.
