IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks a full-time Senior Scheduling Manager for the Mission-Critical division in Chester, VA.

You will oversee the Scheduling Department, leading scheduling operations across a national portfolio of complex data center projects and ensuring schedule integrity aligns with project goals. The role demands expert Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel skills, with 10+ years in scheduling and 5+ in leadership, plus willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years scheduling experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive background in electrical construction and data center environments.
• Expert-level Primavera P6; strong MS Project and Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling across multiple large-scale projects.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills interfacing at all levels.
• Ability to travel as required; pass pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages Scheduling Department, ensuring consistent processes and schedule integrity across all Mission Critical projects.
• Serves as subject matter expert for scheduling best practices, critical path, and planning strategy for electrical construction in data centers.
• Develops and maintains integrated master schedules in collaboration with project teams, field leadership, and trade partners.
• Establishes protocols for schedule development, updates, forecasting, look-ahead planning, and schedule recovery.
• Performs schedule risk assessments, delay analysis, and reporting for executive decision-making and client communications.
• Partners with Project Controls, Estimating, and Operations to support preconstruction planning and manpower forecasting.
• Provides mentorship and leadership to schedulers within the department.
• Conducts regular audits, site visits, and coordination meetings to monitor progress and alignment with milestones.
• Position requires travel to project sites.
