Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for data center projects in Chester, Virginia. The role leads scheduling efforts, analyzes project data, and develops detailed schedules with the project team and trade partners.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of electrical scheduling experience, proficiency in MS Project and P6, and a solid grasp of construction disciplines. Data Center experience is preferred, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent electrical (industrial/commercial) scheduling and project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to produce detailed schedules, with resource and cost loading.
• Thorough knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience not required but preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Works as the Scheduling Lead on electrical data center projects, performing scheduling and reporting.
• Analyzes project information and prepares documents to ensure efficient planning and scheduling.
• Develops detailed schedules with the project team and trade partners.
• Inputs, analyzes, and monitors design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Oversees all project scheduling activities and provides status updates, forecasts, and reports.
• Reviews schedule updates and changes and produces impact reports on financial impact and delays.
• Performs work on the project site and collaborates with the project and design teams.
