Job summary

IREN is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Childress, TX, to own and coordinate data center trades from front-end engineering through commissioning. You’ll drive schedule, cost, and quality while directing the project team and coordinating with the Project Director.

Qualifications include 10+ years in data centers, PM leadership, and deep trade knowledge; OSHA 30 and strong MS Office skills are preferred. Significant travel and relocation flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center industry.
• 5+ years of proven PM and people leadership on mid to large data center projects.
• Engineering discipline or demonstrable data center infrastructure knowledge.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one trade.
• Executive presence and reporting: documenting risks, schedule and budget for senior leadership.
• Experience in a fast-paced growth environment with company-wide impact.
• OSHA 30.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Project start-up and front-end engineering for assigned trades, including constructability and site layout coordination.
• Contracting input into subcontracts and GC trade packages; support procurement and capex planning.
• Facilitate handover from development to execution teams; develop trade-level PM plans and schedules with cost tracking.
• Lead design and constructability reviews; own RFI process and asset coordination.
• Develop and deliver trade program within the building's master schedule; manage look-ahead planning and contractor strategies.
• Maintain scope documentation and ensure clear contractor obligations; coordinate with design teams.
• Drive quality, HSE and KPI goals; ensure training and inductions for all personnel and subcontractors.
• Own commissioning readiness and handover manuals; ensure close-out and operations handover.
• Provide concise trade status updates to Project Director; maintain strong relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Developing Project Managers: guidance and resource planning.
• Contribute to continual improvement and lessons-learned workshops.
