Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead national data center and critical infrastructure projects, spanning thermal, power, battery and monitoring systems. You will drive processes from pre-sales through equipment commissioning and use Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI to support execution.

The role emphasizes strong communication, budgeting, risk management and safety leadership, with a goal of delivering on time and within budget. Travel of 25-30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in critical infrastructure with UPS, thermal, battery and monitoring exposure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service and project management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use standard PM tools to achieve quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define resources and develop project organizational charts.
• Coordinate with order management, production, logistics, contractors and warranty groups.
• Communicate schedule, budget and scope to field teams and customers.
• Visit sites to build relationships with contractor and customer personnel.
• Escalate issues to protect project success and ensure timely resolution.
