Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a Project Executive to lead large, mission-critical data center programs from strategy through closeout. You will oversee $100M–$500M+ projects, drive client alignment, and build high‑performing teams in fast-paced environments.

The role requires deep mission-critical expertise, strong business acumen, and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction management experience on large projects.
• 5+ years leading mission-critical/data center projects.
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $100M–$500M+.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project strategy from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, scheduling, forecasting, and contract compliance.
• Maintain executive-level client relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat work.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and mentor senior project teams to deliver high performance.
