Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation's Global Strategic Account organization is hiring a Sr. Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure and data center projects across the U.S.

You will drive pre-sales through commissioning, ensuring a repeatable, safe, on-time execution while coordinating with digital platforms such as Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI. This role requires clear communication with multiple levels and cross-functional teams, and a focus on safety, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in critical infrastructure.
• Experience with UPS, thermal, battery and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required to fulfill the project scope of work.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project.
• Work closely with the jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding and communication of the schedule, budget, and scope.
• Escalate and create urgency around any issues that would impede the success of the project and communicate with stakeholders.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Responsible for the financial performance on assigned projects, including cost budget and margins.
• Be proactive in establishing a culture of Safety for each project.
