Job summary

Serverfarm in Covington, GA is seeking an experienced Operations Lead for its data-center facilities. You will oversee shift leadership, monitor critical electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure safe, reliable operation of UPS, generators, cooling, and power distribution.

The role requires strong technical judgment, 5+ years in mission-critical ops, and a track record of leadership. Relocation assistance is offered for this on-site position located near Atlanta.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center or mission-critical operations.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and OEM documentation.
• Safety and risk management mindset (LOTO, arc-flash, PPE).
• Leadership or acting-lead experience.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS/DCIM/CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical resource during assigned shifts and oversee operations.
• Monitor and manage electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
• Lead response to alarms, events, and abnormal conditions.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities and change management.
• Maintain and review operational logs and documentation.
• Mentor junior technicians and support qualification programs.
