Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an MEP Project Manager II for its National Mission Critical team. You will oversee PM tasks for MEP systems across data center projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with project documents and owner requirements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, with travel as needed to support project success.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in construction project management with focus on MEP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or construction science is required.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP systems and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Working knowledge of Procore, P6, and other construction management tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in preconstruction for MEP trades: bid procedures, bid reviews, utility coordination, and scheduling.
• Communicate owner project agreement to the team to align expectations.
• Develop business relationships internally and externally through effective communication.
• Provide insights into temporary MEP systems to support the construction schedule.
• Buyout, award, contract and coordinate MEP scopes of work with subcontractors.
• Clarify MEP subcontractor scope based on drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Assist in change requests, progress payments and overall finances.
• Participate in project financials: budgets, cost codes, invoices, pay applications.
• Manage project team members and subcontractor partners; mentor juniors.
• Assist in defining project team structures and training.
• Provide performance feedback to team members.
• Support field team with MEP tasks for project schedule development.
• Lead implementation of Quality and Safety Plans with MEP subs.
• Create and update logs for owner/contractor equipment, testing, and deviations.
• Lead MEP submittal register development and distribution.
• Forecast RFIs/submittals to client and third parties.
• Manage MEP Subcontractors through BIM/3D coordination.
• Provide timely communication of MEP project risks to stakeholders.
• Lead Project Commissioning activities and testing for completion.
• Complete documentation for closeout: warranties, as-builts, retention release.
