Job summary

CBM of America, LLC is seeking an Installation Technician Level 4 to perform intermediate and advanced installation work in data center environments, adhering to GR-1275 and NSTD119 standards.

The role requires 5+ years Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience, strong knowledge of fiber optics and power systems, and the ability to lead on-site activities. Travel up to 100% may be required, with diverse shifts to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic installations and testing.
• Experience with infrastructure installations ( racks, cable racks, fiber duct).

Responsibilities

• Work with minimal supervision and be certified in Skill levels 1, 2 and 3.
• Input job status and expenses into Project Management platform.
• Reconcile materials for sales orders using inventory forms.
• Control on-site aspects of the job and coordinate with supervisor/PM.
• Interface with Installation Supervisor/PM to resolve order issues and update docs.
• Maintain tools and monitor calibration requirements.
• Perform hardware testing, power verification, and device provisioning.
• Meet customer and internal quality standards and adhere to safety requirements.
